{"id":193,"date":"2025-10-24T10:45:32","date_gmt":"2025-10-24T08:45:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.faba-france.org\/introducing-faba\/"},"modified":"2025-12-17T10:40:01","modified_gmt":"2025-12-17T09:40:01","slug":"introducing-faba","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.faba-france.org\/en\/introducing-faba\/","title":{"rendered":"Presentation of the FABA"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>FABA France is a <strong>non-profit association<\/strong> (governed by the law of July 1, 1901).<\/p>\n\n<p>FABA France aims to provide a forum for legal professionals and law students to meet, exchange ideas and develop a mutual support network.<\/p>\n\n<p>In this context, FABA France&#8217;s mission, in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, is to:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Organize events<\/strong> for its members and legal professionals to meet,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Organize training sessions and conferences<\/strong> for legal professionals and law students,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Connect <\/strong>its members with each other, with members of its sister association based in New York, and with third parties requiring their specific skills, as appropriate,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In general,<strong> promote relationships<\/strong> among its own members and the Franco-American legal community.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>To become a member, you must be a lawyer registered with a bar association in France, the United States, or elsewhere (it is not necessary to be registered with both bar associations), be a jurist or legal advisor, or hold a Master&#8217;s degree in law, and demonstrate an interest in Franco-American legal culture.<\/p>\n\n<p>FABA France is twinned with FABA US, based in the United States, and events and training courses are regularly organized jointly.<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-a89b3969 wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/faba-usa.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">More information about the FABA US<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FABA France is a non-profit association (governed by the law of July 1, 1901).
