FABA France is a non-profit association (governed by the law of July 1, 1901).
FABA France aims to provide a forum for legal professionals and law students to meet, exchange ideas and develop a mutual support network.
In this context, FABA France’s mission, in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, is to:
- Organize events for its members and legal professionals to meet,
- Organize training sessions and conferences for legal professionals and law students,
- Connect its members with each other, with members of its sister association based in New York, and with third parties requiring their specific skills, as appropriate,
- In general, promote relationships among its own members and the Franco-American legal community.
To become a member, you must be a lawyer registered with a bar association in France, the United States, or elsewhere (it is not necessary to be registered with both bar associations), be a jurist or legal advisor, or hold a Master’s degree in law, and demonstrate an interest in Franco-American legal culture.
FABA France is twinned with FABA US, based in the United States, and events and training courses are regularly organized jointly.
